The Criminology minor prepares students for employment in criminal justice, criminology, forensic sciences, public service and public policy fields, as well as those seeking advanced degrees in related disciplines. The minor focuses on the theories and research used to predict and explain the origins and nature of crimes, the determinants of crime patterns, the effects of crime on individuals, communities and society, and the solutions to reduce and prevent crime.

Enrollment/Eligibility Criteria

Students must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
