Agriculture eLearning Development - Certificate
This certificate prepares students to design advanced eLearning courses and training programs tailored to agricultural disciplines.
Students completing the Certificate in Agriculture eLearning Development build a strong foundation in learning theory, adult education, instructional design, and computer programming from an eLearning perspective. The program includes a capstone experience to strengthen skills and enhance the graduate learning process. Working with a member of the certificate committee, students design a capstone project aligned with their professional goals. Examples include developing a web page, creating and delivering an online course, or designing training programs or instructional units.
This certificate requires 12 credit hours and may be completed as either a part of a degree program, or by enrolling in a certificate-only (non-degree) status. Whether completed as part of a degree or as a stand-alone certificate, students must apply for graduation for the certificate to be officially awarded and recorded on the transcript.
This program is approved for asynchronous delivery through distance-education technology.
