Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry

The Chemistry degree program provides comprehensive training in both foundational and advanced research, preparing students for careers in academia, industry and government.

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree program is designed to ensure that students receive extensive research experience. In addition to research, graduate students in the Department of Chemistry are required to enroll in chemistry coursework, serve as teaching assistants for at least two semesters, present and attend seminars.
