Master of Science in Industrial Engineering

The Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, administered by the Texas A&M Wm. Michael Barnes ’64 Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, requires advanced coursework in the area of coordination and improvement of complex systems and processes commonly found in industry. The coordination and improvement of such systems requires exposure to methodologies from operations research, data science, human factors, and manufacturing. Students of the program will also develop technical writing, graphical, and oral communication abilities in order to convey recommendations and results to a non-technical audience.
