Economics - 5-Year Bachelor of Science and Master of International Affairs
This program combines the teaching of analytical thinking skills and applications to better understand human behavior as it relates to international economic development along with skills in diplomacy, research and development of a global perspective.
The combined program between the Department of Economics and The Bush School of Government and Public Service allows undergraduate Economics students to enter the Master of International Affairs Program, with a focus in International Economics and Development, at the beginning of their fourth year at Texas A&M University.

International affairs graduate advisor will assist with International affairs course selection for chosen track in graduate program. Select from INTA 601-699.
Graduation requirements include 3 hours of International and Cultural Diversity courses and 3 hours of Cultural Discourse courses. A course satisfying a Core category, a college/department requirement, or a free elective can be used to satisfy this requirement. The required 6 hours may be met by courses satisfying other areas of a degree program. See your academic advisor for further information.
No more than 42 credits in economics and econometrics can be applied to this degree.
The program includes a total of 168 hours which up to 18 hours may be applied toward both the Bachelor of Science in Economics and the Master of International Affairs.
