Mays Professional MBA Program

The Professional Master of Business Administration (PMBA) Program is designed for working professionals who want to apply classroom learning directly to their current roles. Graduates emerge both personally and professionally transformed, prepared to step confidently into expanded responsibilities and leadership roles.

Mays Business School offers a Professional Master of Business Administration (PMBA) Program for business professionals with work experience, leading to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Only students admitted into the Professional MBA program are eligible to enroll in the Mays Professional MBA Program courses.

The Mays Professional MBA Program is a lock-step program. All course enrollments are handled through the Mays Professional MBA Program Office. The Mays Professional MBA Program class sessions are held at CityCentre III in Houston, Texas, on alternate weekends: Fridays from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Details about the Mays Professional MBA Program and the class schedule are available from the Mays MBA Program Office or the Professional MBA program website. Admission to the program is only in the fall semester.

This program is approved for delivery at CityCentre in Houston, Texas, and via synchronous distance education technology.

Mays Business School is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) at all program levels.

GMAT/GRE and TOEFL Requirements

Mays Professional MBA Program applicants must take the GMAT or GRE (GMAT/GRE waivers are available via the program office). 

Applicants required to demonstrate English language proficiency under university policy must present minimum scores for admission. International applicants should consult the Mays Business School International Student Information website for additional guidance.
