Master of Science in Biochemistry

The Master of Science (MS) program provides students with an advanced foundational knowledge in biochemistry and biophysics. Students who wish to incorporate a substantive research component should pursue the thesis option, while those interested primarily in theoretical studies may elect the non-thesis option. Degrees are granted on demonstration of a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. The degree candidate must also display proficiency in written and oral scientific communication.
