The Adam C. Sinn '00 Department of Finance offers Master of Science in Finance, Master of Real Estate (MRE), Master of Financial Management, Master of Science in Quantitative Finance, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.

The Master of Science in Finance (MSF) "STEM to Stocks" program is a 36-hour, non-thesis degree that prepares non-finance undergraduate students for a finance-related career.  The program is specifically designed for STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) non-finance business and economics majors.  Admission is available for current Texas A&M sophomores and seniors.  For more information, visit STEMtoStocks.com.

The Master of Real Estate program prepares students to become innovative leaders who will shape where the world lives, works, and plays for the next 100 years. We strive to develop the whole student through a focus on Texas A&M’s core values, including excellence, leadership, respect and selfless service. Our curriculum emphasizes a fundamental understanding of commercial real estate, hard skills for analysis and decision making, and an innovative mindset.  Find out more at http://mays.tamu.edu/master-of-real-estate.

The Master of Financial Management (MFM) degree is currently open only to students who have been admitted to one of the following three programs:  (i) the Professional Program in Accounting (PPA), (ii) the Trading, Risk & Investments Program (TRIP), and (iii) the Commercial Banking Program (CBP).  Each of these three programs is responsible for setting its own admission criteria.

The Master of Science in Quantitative Finance (MSQF) program is offered by the Adam C. Sinn ’00 Department of Finance with the Department of Mathematics.  The MSQF is a 36-hour, non-thesis degree which prepares students, especially STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) and finance majors for careers which require superior quantitative skills. These skills include risk management, quantitative investing, and model development. The MSQF also prepares students for Ph.D. studies in Finance.  Admission is available to current Texas A&M sophomore, junior and senior students or non-Texas A&M graduates who have completed the prerequisites earning a grade of B or higher by the end of Texas A&M University – College Station Summer I Term.  For more information, visit STEMtoStocks.com.

The doctoral program in finance brings the PhD student to the leading edge of knowledge in the field. Rigorous coursework and research activities provide the student with an in-depth understanding of the theoretical, conceptual, and managerial foundations of finance. In addition to possessing a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the field, students who successfully complete the doctoral program can demonstrate advanced competencies for conducting quality research, directing research of others, and communicating research findings through teaching and publication.
