Leadership Education, Theory, and Practice - Certificate

This certificate prepares students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand leadership theory and effectively apply it at any level within an organization.

Students completing the certificate in Leadership Education, Theory, and Practice will build a strong foundation in leadership theory, with instruction focused on real-world leadership situations and on applying these theories across professional and civic organizations. 

This certificate requires 12 credit hours and may be completed as either a part of a degree program or by enrolling in a certificate-only (non-degree) status. Whether completed as part of a degree or as a stand-alone certificate, students must apply for graduation for the certificate to be officially awarded and recorded on the transcript. 

This program is approved for asynchronous delivery through distance-education technology.
