Previous Degree | Must hold baccalaureate degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university (degrees from institutions outside the U.S. are evaluated for equivalency to U.S. degree) BSN degree must be from a program accredited by either the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education |

Foreign Degree Transcripts | Applicants with foreign transcripts must include a transcript evaluation from an evaluation service which is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), for a course-by-course evaluation and U.S. equivalency determination |
Other Requirements | Must hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license or show proof of conferred degree before entry and active RN license by the end of the first semester if admitted to the program; FNP requires the RN is licensed in Texas; Official Transcripts; Three Professional References; Curriculum Vitae or Resume; Timed verbal and written assessments; Consult program home pages for specific information regarding each MSN specialty area. |
