Human Systems Integration-Bioastronautics - Certificate
The graduate level certificate in Human Systems Integration - Bioastronautics will prepare professionals in engineering, human physiology, and medicine to effectively address the growing challenges of both civil and commercial human spaceflight. Participants will be exposed to classes in space operations, human factors and performance, spaceflight physiology, classical bioastronautics, quantitative risk analysis, systems design, and historical lessons learned over the last 60 years of human spaceflight. Courses are offered by synchronous and asynchronous distance learning to provide a flexible schedule for working professionals. The program is developed based on external community demand from the aerospace industry as space exploration and commercial programs continue to increase exponentially.
This program is also approved for delivery via asynchronous or synchronous distance education technology.
