The minor in Park and Natural Resource Management is offered from the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management (RWFM) for undergraduate majors to further refine their studies. This program focuses on integrating concepts of bio-environmental sciences, social and behavioral sciences, and policy and administrative decision-making to equip future land managers and related professionals with the background and skills necessary for the management of natural and cultural resources associated with conserving parks and other protected areas.
This certificate is ideal for students interested in careers in recreation, park, and tourism fields, including those offered by state and federal agencies, private enterprises, non-profit organizations, youth camps, and environmental education programs.
