The 6-year combination program, Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning and the Master of Landscape Architecture, allows high-performing undergraduate students in the Urban Design track to streamline their undergraduate and professional education.
The undergraduate core is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills to deal effectively with the opportunities and challenges inherent in the urban design, development, and policy, of cities and landscapes. Students acquire skills that enable them to apply planning theory and policy to design and plan communities, cities, and sites which are safe, healthy, and sustainable. While still completing undergraduate credits, students begin graduate coursework in the Master of landscape architecture program to refine and extend their skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication, leading to an accredited professional degree.
