The minor in Environmental Systems Science embraces all earth systems sciences to give the student a rigorous interdisciplinary education including issues associated with environmental policy.
Coursework of 15 credits centers on atmospheric sciences and air quality, resources and the environment, oceanography and marine pollution, environmental geology, and climate change. The minor prepares students for careers in industry, environmental and engineering consulting firms, non-governmental organizations, and governmental regulatory agencies, among other entities.
