The minor in Maritime Business Administration, offered through the College of Marine Sciences and Maritime Studies, is designed to provide students with specialized knowledge in the Maritime and Logistics Industries. Students are required to complete coursework in introductory accounting, project management and ocean transportation, as well as electives in Maritime Business.

To ensure students have adequate depth in the maritime field, electives must be approved for the MBAU minor dependent on a students’ major. Students with no other background or coursework in Maritime Business Administration will be required to select at least 9 hours of MARA courses to support the student's competency in the maritime field.
