Jewish Studies - Minor
The Jewish Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary minor that focuses on Jewish religious traditions, history, texts, art, and figures from the ancient to the contemporary period.
Coursework addresses key issues in Jewish studies from multiple traditions, including religious studies, literature, history, film, anthropology, and philosophy. The minor is open to students from any major, and allows students to cultivate knowledge and understanding of Judaism and of Israeli society, history, and culture in regional and comparative contexts. A minor in Jewish Studies also helps to prepare students for careers in education, international development, non-profit agencies and NGOs, public relations and marketing, government service, international law, international business, engineering, global health, and research.
