Commercial Banking - Certificate

The Department of Finance offers specialized study through the Commercial Banking Certificate Program (CBP). The CBP is designed to equip BBA FINC students with the banking and finance skills needed to prepare for, and transition into, banking careers serving the personnel needs of the industry in the state of Texas and the United States.

The CBP requires completion of prescribed coursework and a paid summer internship with a member bank of the CBP Advisory Board. Business students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Students who pursue the CBP must complete all program requirements prior to graduation. Upon graduation a certificate notation will be added to the official transcript.
