Public Policy Analysis - Minor

The Public Policy Analysis (PPAN) minor prepares students for impactful careers in public policy.

Changing the world takes time and money and we cannot afford to waste either of them on policies that do not work. Policy analysis teaches us how to identify programs that work and helps government to redirect money away from programs that do not work. The PPAN minor complements majors within all of the social sciences, humanities, and many of the natural sciences or engineering departments. PPAN students learn about the context and tools of public policy analysis and can focus on specific policy topics such as environmental policy, health policy, or education policy.
