Public Policy Analysis - Minor
The Public Policy Analysis (PPAN) minor prepares students for impactful careers in public policy.
Changing the world takes time and resources and neither can be wasted on policies that do not work. Policy analysis teaches how to identify programs that work and helps government to redirect resources away from programs that do not work toward programs that do. The PPAN minor complements majors across the social sciences, humanities and many of the natural sciences or engineering departments. PPAN students learn about the context and tools of public policy analysis and may focus on specific policy topics such as environmental, health or education policy.
