Watershed Certificate
The Watershed Certificate is offered for Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management (RWFM) undergraduate majors to earn a career building certification focused on the foundational understanding of watershed management, soil science and ecological functions. Approved courses include a variety of options ranging from geological studies to regulatory policy to wetland delineations. This certificate is often obtained by those interested in pursuing a graduate degree in watershed/hydrology science or career with local, state or federal agencies, or private environmental or natural resource consulting firms.
This program was closed for new enrollments effective November 8, 2024 and inactivated on January 2, 2025. Students enrolled on November 8, 2024 will be allowed to complete the program contingent upon proper processes and approvals.
