Mays Business School offers an Artificial Intelligence in Business minor for all undergraduate students. Students interested in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) in a business setting may find that when combined with skills from their major, an AI in Business minor provides the foundation required to efficiently and effectively utilize AI/ML to advance their career and company.

Students applying for the AI in Business minor must have a 3.0 or better overall GPA, 24 credit hours completed with at least 12 completed at Texas A&M University. Application is made in the student’s home college or major department. Students are encouraged to start taking AI in Business minor courses as soon as the minor is declared.

To be awarded the minor and receive transcript recognition, students must obtain a 2.0 or better GPA overall in the courses. Once declared, minor requirements become graduation requirements. The minor will be recognized on the transcript after graduation, but not on the diploma.
