This track is designed for students who wish to pursue careers as teachers or caregivers for young children outside public school classrooms by providing the skills necessary to nurture and educate children in various settings.
The Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture (TLAC) offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) which prepares undergraduates interested in pursuing careers as teachers/caregivers of young children birth-age 8 and their families through a non-licensure program.
