Wealth Management - Certificate

The Certificate in Wealth Management is designed for wealth management professionals (including financial advisors, business analysts, directors of financial planning, and CFOs) to deliver specialized legal training for an in-depth understanding of the industry’s changing complex legal aspects. 

The graduate-level Certificate in Wealth Management will prepare new and experienced wealth and asset management professionals to effectively address complex legal and policy challenges in the wealth management industry. Specifically, participants will be exposed to (i) important Federal and state laws, regulations and policies in the wealth management industry, and (ii) advances in theory and practice, as well as applications of law, regulation and policies through case studies through a module-based structure. Individuals who complete the program will be able to synthesize scenarios, practice, and legal regulation in the wealth management industry, providing analysis or judgments for consideration to organizational leadership with a nuanced perspective.

The Certificate in Wealth Management provides an industry-responsive curriculum with a focus on the legal aspects of wealth and asset management as it applies to policies, business, and economic factors. Courses are offered by asynchronous distance learning to provide a flexible schedule for working professionals. Interactive coursework includes case study assignments and regular interaction with classmates through zoom meetings, videos, audio casts, chat rooms, discussion boards, and group breakout sessions.
