The minor in Computer Science provides the student with an introduction to the fundamentals of this area of study.  The minor, available to students in all majors (except for CPSC, COMP, CECN, CEEN, and CPEN), focuses on developing a basic foundation in computing, including components of programming, data structures and algorithm analysis, and computer architecture.  The minor is administered by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.  Eligible students must submit an application in order to be considered for and allowed to pursue a minor in Computer Science.

Completion of all minor coursework with GPA of 2.75 or better required.

All 300-level CSCE courses must be taken at TAMU; no transfer coursework will be accepted.
