Computer Science - Minor

The minor in Computer Science provides the student with an introduction to the fundamentals of this area of study.

The minor focuses on developing a basic foundation in computing, including components of programming, data structures and algorithm analysis and computer architecture. The minor is administered by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. 

Enrollment/Eligibility Criteria

Students must have completed at least one semester at Texas A&M University and have a minimum Texas A&M GPA of 2.75. Students majoring in computer science, computer engineering or computing are not eligible to pursue the Computer Science minor.
